Longhouse Media

The mission of Longhouse Media is to catalyze indigenous people and communities to use media as a tool for self-expression, cultural preservation, and social change. Longhouse Media, a Washington State non-profit organization, was launched in January 2005.


Responsible Development Now

The proposed Fairhaven Highlands development will transpose Bellingham's landscape and destroy mature forest land and wildlife that should be protected for future generations. One of the principle purposes of Responsible Development is to prevent this foolish project.


Transition Whatcom

The goal of Transition Whatcom (and all Transition Initiatives) is to create a long term Energy Descent Action Plan, a blueprint- by the community, for the community- of how we will reduce energy use and yet provide for our basic needs in times of energy scarcity.
